Firehøje Summer festival - the famous "Sommerfest"

The last weekend in August is traditionally when everybody in Firehøje joins on the festival area around Nørup Hallen.

The area will be buzzing with activity for all ages, people talk, have food from the grill and drink a beer or softdrink. The kids are playing and there is party as well as a cermon in the large tent. The Festival stretces over four days:
 

• Wednesday - typically there is a lottery - bank game on Wednesday evening in Sognegården.
• Thursday evening is the Engesholm Slotssø run where 3-400 participants or more walk or run routes of 4,2 km or 10 km length.
• Friday starts with the nursery kids warming up to party in the tent, followed by the school kids building up to a soft-drink disco
• Saturday and sunday will be festive and active with facepaint, fish-pond, petanque, tombola, scouting activities, marketplace, gymnastics, football, badminton, veteran-cars, animal show, music and party.
