About the Firehøje area

The four burial mounds from the iron age situated near the ancient road through Jylland one kilometer north from the church in Randbøl, has given the name for the local sportsclub Firehøje IF, because they are in the centre of the two parishes Randbøl and Nørup.

Nørup parish had in 2022 1.695 citizens and Randbøl parish had 1.463. In all 3.158 citizens in about 1.500 households.

The village of Nørup had 731 citizens in 2022 and grew 3,5% from 706 citizens in 2021. The growts is: 6 births - 2 deaths and 143 newcomers - 122 outmovers. In total 25 persons.
The 143 newcomers forms 19,5% of the citizens.

The village of Vandel had 756 citizens in 2022 and grew 0,9% from 749 citizens. The growth is: 9 births - 5 deaths and 96 newcomers - 93 outmovers. In total 7 persons.

The 96 newcomers forms 12,7% of the citizens.

It mean that 47% og the citizens live in the two villages and 53% live on the countryside or in the small hamlets Åst, Mørup, Førstballe, Rostrup, Gødding, Sødover, Engelsholm, Ravning, Store Lihme, Småkær, Lihmskove, Bindelballe, Fredrikshåb, Randbøl or Randbøldal.
